- GRIP X2 is the most tunable, supportive and smoothest descent-focused damper that FOX has created
- Riders reap the benefits of sitting higher in the travel while tires stay glued to the ground, cornering with increased traction and experience reduced fatigue
- Lower leg bleeders allow atmospheric pressure equalization at the push of a button and the bypass channels increase volume to alleviate pressure ramping as the fork moves through its travel
- The lower leg arch design of the 38 shaves every possible gram while maximizing stiffness and strength requirements of enduro and gravity riding
- Fitted with the proven and reliable FLOAT EVOL air spring
Premium performance for aggressive enduro riding is here, and its name is the Fox 38. With Fox's Performance Elite series build and stout 38mm stanchions, the Fox 38 Float 29in Performance Elite Grip X2 Fork throws down high-level performance for the rowdiest riding. This year, the Grip X2 damper replaces the old Grip 2 damper, sporting all of the same adjustments for maximum tuning capability, but now with a larger diameter base valve and a higher valve count for lower pressures, better sensitivity, and a greater tuning range. All of the last models' improvements stay the same, including the floating axle for a smoother ride, the revised crown and arch for stiffness and weight savings, and the bleeders for balanced positive and negative air chambers. This version of the 38 features Fox's Performance Elite series build and is nearly identical to the Factory series forks, just without the gold Kashima coat on the stanchions.
